Career Assessment

Results from a recent survey indicates that three quarters of American workers have changed career paths at least once, and one third of American workers are interested in changing careers right now. Career assessment tests can be extremely valuable in giving people a jump start in choosing career paths that fit their interests and in finding careers that might match their skills and abilities.

During the career assessment test you will be asked to respond to a series of questions. Your answers are then scored and the system will identify your strongest work-related interests. This can help you decide the type of jobs that will best match your interests. There are no right or wrong answers.

Employ Florida offers three (3) assessment options that we highly recommend:

Work Interest Analyzer

Explore the type of work activities that you like and find exciting and view occupations that will satisfy these interests. The process of determining your interest profile usually takes 15 minutes.

The Work Importance Analyzer

Explore what is important to you in a job and view occupations you may find satisfying, based on your work values. The process of determining your work importance profile usually takes about 15 minutes.

The Transferability Skills Assessment

Identify the detailed skills that you have that are valuable in the workplace to find a career or occupation that suits you and see how you match the job skills employers are looking for.
